The 2017 Ruppin Conference of Industrial Engineering and Management was held yesterday (May 16). The conference aims to become the frontal stage for practical methodologies in the field. This year's conference included sixteen sessions of lectures and workshops. Mally Bitzur-Parnes, CEO of Tefen Israel, held a session about streamlining in Israel's security forces. The session was attended by experts and leaders from the Industrial Engineering and Management industry, leaders from the defense and academic fields, and leading government officials. As part of the conference "Moving Cities towards Innovation Together", produced by the local Israeli authorities, the Minister of Culture, Miri Regev, presented Israel's Cultural Map. The map, which was built by Tefen's team, is a "smart", interactive map that is presented using BI tools which use data about different cultural institutions and the distribution of financial support to them throughout Israel. This map will be published for the use of Local Authorities' culture departments.
